Design should be creative, innovative, and unique while adhering to budgets and timelines. Sometimes design is intended to be original and authentic and some clients are looking for execution of requirements of the brand and necessary submittals.  Alternate Resources is positioned to respond to the distinctive design needs of our clients.

We provide full scale design services for clients seeking custom interiors whether this be for boutique, independent or branded properties. With significant competition for getaway travel dollars, design professionals must continue to up the ante, think out of the box and create extraordinary design to attract guests and stand out.

On projects where full scale design services are not required, we offer design consultation services to fulfill the requirements of branded properties. We work with our client and the brand to customize the standards program to better suit the locale, architecture, and layout of the property.  The result is a customized standard that makes the property unparagoned and often at a lower cost.  We work with the hotel brand to submit owner approved changes, obtain brand approval and keep the project within budget and timeline. If a completely “standard” design is desired by our clients, we manage the submittal process to the brand.

Alternatively, on projects where a Designer is retained, we welcome the opportunity to partner with them and lend our expertise in support of their efforts to maximize results for the client.  We believe strongly that understanding the design process is integral to purchasing and vice versa, and our design knowledge and experience make us a stronger member of any project team.
